EleQted is enabling voters to have their most pressing questions answered by the 2014 Toronto Mayoral Election candidates

TORONTO, ON, October 20, 2014 - EleQted (pronounced “elected”) is officially live for the 2014 Toronto Mayoral Election!

As voters of Toronto, you can visit www.eleQted.com to post their questions to Doug Ford, John Tory and Olivia Chow. You can also vote on and rate your favourite questions over the next few days. This Wednesday, October 22, the top 3 questions, as rated by you, will be sent to each of the candidates for their responses. Answers will be posted on eleQted prior to the end of the election.

“EleQted was founded on a simple principle: government works better, is more accountable, and more transparent, when people demand answers from politicians”

Mark Freedman, Co-Founder

EleQted was founded in the fall of 2013, when three MBA students from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto came together around an idea. Though they each came from different backgrounds, they shared a passion for politics and a vision for the state of political discussion in Canada and the US.

At the height of the budget crisis, and with the US facing the third longest government shutdown in history, they embarked on the road leading to the improvement of the political debate and the interaction between candidates and their constituents.

EleQted is now live, and this is your chance to address the issues that are most important to you. Have your say in the 2014 Toronto Mayoral Election, today!
